Delivery Information


In addition to the stated price, you may be required to pay a delivery charge for the goods. These delivery options are available to you in the checkout area.

In all cases we will endeavour to deliver your products to you within 7 working days of receipt of your order. You will be notified by e-mail of the delivery schedule once your order has been received.

The 'Free Delivery Option' is by a third party courier/delivery service. The item(s) you have ordered will be delivered in a box or carton and/or on a pallet. Some assembly may be required, and in the case of most Mobility Scooters, batteries will need to be connected. Full details of delivery conditions are available in the terms and conditions section.

Please Note: When considering purchasing an 8mph Class 3 Scooter on-line, you must take into consideration the size and weight of the machine that you are purchasing. Most particularly the size and weight of the batteries and the assembly you will need to do, if you are putting it together yourself. The larger type of mobility scooters will come with both the seat and its batteries in seperate boxes and you will need to put the batteries on the scooter and wire them together. Although full instructions are given, special attention must be given to the weight of the batteries and seat that needs to be assembled. We strongly advise that if you are purchasing a large premium size scooter, you seek assistance in taking the delivery and its subsequent assembly. Most large scooters will come in a box which will be on a large pallet.

Local delivery in Dorset and Hampshire is available direct from our store, and is subject to the type of goods being supplied and also availability. For this service please select 'Engineer Delivered' Option at the Checkout. Please contact us if you have any queries.
All items delivered via our 'Engineer Delivered' in house delivery/demonstration method are deemed to be completed sale when the customer is 100% happy with the products delivered .The customers (or customers representative) signature on the handover documentation finalises the sale. Our in house delivery/demonstration system is restricted to customers within 30 miles radius of either our New Milton or Wimborne Shop . This service may require a further delivery charge, and you will be advised of this charge at the checkout.

Delivery is restricted to Mainland United Kingdom only.
All deliveries must be signed for and you should keep your receipt.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, the supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, the supplier will inform you as soon as possible.
Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If you are unable to check the contents of the package at that moment in time please sign for the parcel as “UNCHECKED”. Failure to do so may affect any claims that you make thereafter.

At Batricar Mobility Centre we believe that we can offer the benefits of buying Mobility products on the Internet combined with the personal service that we have been giving our customers for the last 26 years. All of our Mobility scooters and Wheelchairs are priced excluding the cost of delivery. If however you live in the Dorset and Hampshire area, your Mobility Product will be delivered either by courier, for small items, or Enginner Delivered by our own Technician, for Scooters and Wheelchairs. We unpack your scooter or chair at our workshop, install the batteries and any other assembly that is required, and we fully test your machine prior to delivery. We will then arrange a suitable delivery time with you, and one of our staff will deliver the machine to you and give you a full explanation of the scooter, how to drive it safely, how to charge it and how to look after your new machine. We will explain in person to you any information you may need to know about the manufacturers warranty, the service and maintainence service that we offer and any DVLA registration that may be relevant to your machine.
